  • Find the indefinite integral by reversing the derivative process
  • Don't Forget +C at the end
Definite Integrals
  • Calculating value of integrals by subtracting the value of F(x) at the upper boundary of limit of integration and F(x) at the lower boundary of the limit of integration 
Area Under a Curve 
  • Approximation of under curves using rectangles
  • Remember more rectangles typically means better approximation
  • Be able to calculate LRAM, RRAM, and MRAM over a specified interval [a, b] for n rectangles
  • Understand when positive and negative areas occur and why
  • Be able to subdivide problem into manageable and logical subintervals 
  • Be able to use definite integration and technology to confirm actual and approximations of areas under curves
